Todd Boggess

President/CEO

As CEO, Todd provides the overall guide, direction and management of the firm, and continues in his father’s mission to help our local community grow and thrive through innovative, life-enriching design.

His lifelong love of architecture was ignited when Todd was 12 years-old and began helping his dad, ETB founder, Ted Boggess, in the office.

After graduating from Princeton Senior High School in 1982, Todd attended the architecture program at Clemson University. He graduated with a master’s degree in 1988 and returned home to work alongside “Pop.”

Todd’s approach to his work is inspired by his dad’s dedication and openness, and his support and encouragement for other architects and the profession. He prides himself on being a good listener and staying open to other points of view. He wants clients to know their input is important as he works to create a design that represents their dreams.

Naturally creative, Todd is the visionary behind ETB. He brings his passion for architecture to every project he works on, and calls out two projects that have personal importance to him.

The first is the WV Tourist Information Center. A significant milestone in his architectural career, it was Todd’s first design after graduation, and most importantly, launched his working relationship with his dad.

The second is the Chuck Mathena Center because of what it means to the family and the impact it has made on our community. The center is the loving tribute the Mathenas envisioned to honor the memory of their son who died in an automobile accident. They wanted to create opportunities for everyone to appreciate the performing and visual arts. The entire project was a labor of love.

Born and raised in Princeton, his love for the local community and dedication to enriching residents’ lives is central to everything we do. He knows that many of the projects ETB Architects takes on will be used by friends or their family members. Whether it is a home, a church, a school, an office, or a recreational venue, his goal is that a client’s investment in the services ETB provides is good not only for the project, but also has a positive impact on the quality of life and their environment.

"Regardless of the project size or budget, I am dedicated to creating unique projects that satisfy the client's needs, being aesthetically distinctive and contextually comfortable." - Todd Boggess

The project started when he and his son participated in a pizza walking tour around New Haven, CT (a.k.a. the Pizza Capital of the World). Todd is researching everything associated with coal-fired pizzas to make sure his restaurant offers authentic pizza the way it should be.
