Donna East

Incredibly organized, Donna keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes at ETB Architects. She takes pride in the relationships she has developed and the trust our clients and contractors place in her.

Responsible for everything from preparing proposals and creating presentations, to invoicing clients and distributing information, she helps our clients understand what we do and how we do it.

Donna has been instrumental in assisting with the grant application for the Abandoned Mine Lands Reclamation Economic Development Pilot Program (AML Pilot), which will partially fund ETB's project for the ATV Trailcamp at Coaldale.

She works with Todd to create proposals that clearly explain the process and services, what clients can expect at each phase, and how ETB can assist them even after the project has been completed. She is always available to answer clients’ questions.

Donna started working part time at ETB in 1997, after staying at home with her two children. In 1998, She joined the team full-time and has enjoyed the variety and rewards her current role delivers. She is quick to credit her parents with instilling in her a strong work ethic and a desire to do the best at whatever she does.

Donna's favorite project is the award-winning renovation of the former U.S. Post Office on Mercer Street for the Princeton Public Library. While the unused building had deteriorated over the years, ETB’s renovation work preserved many important historical architectural elements, even the postal inspector’s secret observation points cut out of the original walls.

"I do my best to make sure new clients are comfortable and unintimidated by the design process." – Donna East

In her spare time, Donna enjoys getting out for a ride with her husband – either on their Harley-Davidson or their bicycles. Her favorite area to explore is the New River Trail, an abandoned railroad cycleway in Virginia.
