Stephen Mackey

With over 35 years of experience, Steve has successfully overseen the design and construction of a number of large public and private projects. 


He brings strong design, management and leadership skills to the ETB team. Steve’s expertise and attention to detail are utilized in every aspect of a project, from the planning stages of code review and analysis, program development, and master plan development, through design concept and visualization, to project management and coordination, quality control, construction specifications and graphic design.


Steve first joined ETB Architects and his Clemson University classmate and long-time friend, Todd Boggess, in 1993. Steve stepped away to take on new challenges, including serving as Executive Vice President for two architectural firms in Florida, where he was project manager on the 'Jaws Attraction' at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and the 'Jacksonville Skyway' automated people mover system.


He rejoined ETB Architects in 2009, where he guides projects from start to successful completion.
